Truth Above Deception
Good Morning!!! 8/24/2025
Heavenly Father I sit here in your presences fully surrendered and submitted to you. Having full obedience to you and The Spirit in which you so graciously have allowed me to receive. Thank you Holy Spirit that you provide me strength to stay fully focused and rooted in Truth. Thank you Father that you are always with me. Father you guide my steps and I am so grateful that you walk with me through it all. Your presences to me is warmer than the sun but as cold as the snow. It is simple and complex so so beautiful, and as I sit in your presence I don’t want to move. Thank you for keeping me in the eye of the tornadoes, the waves, and the whirlwinds, shielded and not touched by the surrounding elements. Your presence is needed so much today as there are so many afflictions and so much division. So many in need of your presence and awaking. Each day that you allow me to continue here. You reveal more and more of Your Truth, I am truly consumed by it, it brings much sorrow to my heart for those that do not know you or that are blinded from seeing Your Glory and amazing covering . Thank you for Your Armor that Paul spoke of in Ephesians. As you guard my mind with your helmet of salvation and my heart with your breastplate of righteousness, I ask that you cover the message that I write today given to me by Your Holy Spirit. Allow those reading it to comprehend it and feel your presence in it. That you will allow them to see it as revealed to me and allow the Holy Spirit to help them apply it to their life’s. In Yehoshua’s (Jesus)(The Lord is Salvation) name I pray to you Father. Amen
As I go through my day and I look around and you show me how easy the enemy can deceive us, and if we are not fully aware and listening to The Spirit of Truth, worldly deception will crush you. Thank you for always protecting your children. Guiding us in the way you would have us respond, and forgiving us in the moments we respond through human nature and not divine nature.
John 16:13 “However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
Revelations 3:19 “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
When you hear the word obedience or submit or surrender what is your reaction or thought about it at that moment?
I have seen so many times that if you mention those words, people tend to get offended or they will shut down, but if you want to receive from the Father full peace and divine protection you have to surrender to His nature (Love) and submit to the Holy Spirit (truth). We have to be fully aware of what we are giving submission too. It is so easy to be confused and give in to the ways and things of the world and not walk or react in a Godly way. That takes me to living in this world but not being of it or conforming to it. It is hard for some to understand that saying we live in this world but are not from it. There are several scriptures that touch on this. There are some really good and impactful or powerful sermons on this, but to simply put it when we are living through, with and for Love and following that which Love is defined as then that is living in this world but not conforming to it. When we seek or follow our own desires, feelings (opinions), ways then that is being of this world.
1 John 4:8
I like how biblequestions.com explains it. This web site has helped direct me to the scripture I was looking for. If you are like me it is hard to memorize exactly what book and versus a particular scripture is in, I know the Lord does not hold that against us, He writes The Word on our Hearts and guides us through The Holy Spirit.
Psalms 16 - 2 Corinthians 3:3

The concept of living in the world but not being of it is rooted in several passages in the New Testament. One key scripture is John 17:14-16, where Jesus prays for His disciples, saying, "I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world."
This idea is further supported by Romans 12:2, which encourages believers not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. This transformation allows believers to live according to their new identity in Christ, reflecting His love and truth in a world that often opposes His ways.
Additionally, 1 John 2:15-17 warns against loving the world or anything in it, emphasizing that the desires of the world are temporary, but those who do the will of God live forever. These passages collectively remind us that while we live in the world, our true identity and citizenship are in Christ, and we are called to live out of that reality.
